Makippa is a new sensation casting blade jig that is simply thrown and retrieved, as its name suggests. In the saltwater scene, casting jigs are a standard lure because of their long casting distance and effectiveness across various fish species. However, they can be difficult to produce the desired action or to maintain the targeted depth, requiring experience and familiarity to use effectively.

Makippa addresses the difficulty of handling casting jigs by thoroughly tuning the design so that anyone can easily use it. The tail is equipped with a blade that has a high fish-attracting effect just by winding, and it features a blade hook system (PAT.) that allows for high-probability hook-ups on blade bites without obstructing the blade's rotation.

The body’s balanced design and the arrangement of parts ensure stable swimming and flashing without body rotation, effectively attracting target fish.

Usage is straightforward: upon water entry, reeling immediately will keep the lure at the surface, while sinking it before reeling will maintain the mid-water or bottom range, allowing you to target the fish at their preferred depth.

Standard equipment includes assist hooks with tinsel (tinsel) that are effective for all fish species. Additionally, the "Omakase" eye on the belly allows for optional attachment of double or triple hooks according to preference. For fish that bite from the bottom, attaching hooks to the Omakase eye is especially effective.

Target fish species include: seabass, flatfish, flathead, yellowtail (Inada, Warasa), mackerel, horse mackerel, cutlassfish, madai (red sea bream), black sea bream, Kurodai (black porgy), rockfish, and many others.
