The third installment in the KAGELOU series, produced by ranker hunter Takayuki Kubota, is the KAGELOU155F.
This lure is most effective when seabass are focusing on the surface and preying on large baitfish such as mullet, fallen ayu, and konoshiro. Its voluminous, high-appeal body is designed to attract them. The large, cut-out dart cup expands its surface area to catch water, pushing it more forcefully and intensely appealing to targets.
Similar to the original size, its action produces a subtle, natural roll at low to medium retrieve speeds, transitioning to a roll with an appealing slide at medium to high retrieve speeds (variable roll action).
The LBO II system equipped in the KAGELOU155F has been newly designed with an enlarged body, including the weight and balancer shaft. Compared to the KAGELOU124F, the weight itself has more than doubled in mass. The newly developed bearing-integrated weight, with its overwhelming mass, instantaneously moves during casting, generating a powerful propulsive vector for astonishing casting distances. Upon starting the retrieve, the weight is instantly guided and fixed by the neodymium magnetic field at the front, transitioning into swimming mode.
