Using this walnut, the final process that determines the quality of the Buddhist altar is finished by domestic craftsmen to maximize the texture (such as the grain) of the walnut, resulting in a calm color tone.

Shizuoka Prefecture began with lacquerware production during the Edo period, and by the mid-Meiji era, the production of Western-style furniture had started.
Buddhist altars began to be manufactured as a derivative from furniture in the Showa era, and production has been active to this day, similar to furniture.

Because Gratía ⑤ has a simple design, attention is paid to details, such as softly rounded corners, uniform paint matching each piece of wood, and carefully crafted thick and curved boards.
