【What is Ichifude Ryu?】As the name suggests, Ichifude Ryu is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (Ichifude), without any interruption, while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent:- Continuous development and wealth- Unbroken good relationships and growth, connecting people- Ongoing protection and safetySince the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been highly revered as a divine protector and benefactor, with strong blessings and benefits believed to be bestowed through the dragon deity, and it has been faithfully passed down.

【Kyoto Ichifude Ryu Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifude Ryu』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Ryu passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three known Ichifude Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon deities are believed to dwell.
