【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifudragon that has been passed down since the Edo period, he pursues it with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of learning, detachment, and mastery).He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
