【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn with a single brush stroke (Ichifude) without interruption, embodying wishes and prayers. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】From childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifudragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method. Believing it to be his destiny, he learned the technique through self-study. He preserves the tradition of Ichifudragon from the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
