【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn with wishes and prayers in a single continuous stroke using a single brush, without breaking the body part. It is believed to represent 『uninterrupted development and wealth』『endless connections through good relationships and growth』『continued protection and safety』. Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, the blessing and benefits of the dragon god have been highly revered, treasured, and passed down with faith.

【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and continues to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of learning, detachment, and mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
