【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the Dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a brush, without breaking the body, while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent 'uninterrupted development and wealth,' 'endless connections for good relationships and growth,' and 'continued protection and safety.' Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, the blessings and benefits of the Dragon God have been highly revered, treasured, and passed down with faith.

【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' technique, which deeply impressed him with its history and method. Believing it to be his divine mission, he learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
