【What is Ichifude Ryu?】As the name suggests, Ichifude Ryu is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one stroke) that continuously depicts the body without interruption, embodying wishes and prayers. It is believed to represent 'unbroken development and financial luck,' 'endless good relationships and growth that connect people,' and 'continued protection and safety.' Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been revered as a powerful guardian deity, believed to bring blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down.

【Kyoto Ichifude Ryu Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Ryu' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and technique, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Ryu dating back to the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (a concept of mastery and evolution). He is one of only three Ichifude Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
