【What is Ichifude Ryu?】As the name suggests, Ichifude Ryu is a dragon drawn with a single brushstroke (one-fude) that continuously depicts the body without interruption, while containing wishes and prayers. It is believed to represent:- Unbroken development and financial luck- Endless connections and growth through good relationships- Continuous protection and safetySince the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been revered as a powerful guardian deity, believed to bring blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down.

【Kyoto Ichifude Ryu Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifude Ryu』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Ryu passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Ryu artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
