【What is Ichifude (One-stroke) Dragon?】As the name suggests, it is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke without breaking the body part, while wishing and praying. 【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional “Ichifude Dragon” technique and was deeply impressed by its history and technique, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Dragons dating back to the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of “Shuhari” (a martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and mastery).He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
