【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, Ichifudragon is a dragon drawn with a single brushstroke without interruption, embodying wishes and prayers. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifudragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique independently. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
