【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a single brush, without breaking the body, while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent 『uninterrupted development and wealth』『endless good relationships and growth』『continued protection and safety』. Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, the dragon has been revered as a powerful guardian deity, believed to bring blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down through belief.

【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique, which deeply impressed him with its history and method. Believing it to be his divine mission, he learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon dating back to the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 【Shuhari】. He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
