【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifudragon is a dragon drawn with wishes and prayers in a single continuous stroke using a brush, without breaking the body part. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of learning, detachment, and mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
