【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a single brush, without breaking the body, while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent 'uninterrupted development and wealth,' 'endless good relationships and growth,' and 'continued protection and safety.' Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been highly revered as a protective and beneficial deity, with strong blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down as a divine dragon.*'Kyoto Ichifude Dragon's Blessing / Symbol of Blessings = drawn in one continuous stroke without breaking the body.'*

【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught, believing it was his divine mission. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari.'He is considered one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
