【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn with wishes and prayers in a single, unbroken stroke using a brush for the body part, symbolizing 『uninterrupted development and wealth』『endless good relationships and growth』『continued protection and safety』. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, which he started at age 6, and learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique, was deeply impressed by its history and technique, and felt it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】.He is considered one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell, a place with a 1,000-year history.
