【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique, which has been passed down since ancient times. He was deeply impressed by its technique and history, felt it was his destiny, and learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifudragon that has continued since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a Japanese martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
