【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing “Karate-do,” where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional “Ichifude Dragon” and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of “Shuhari” (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate coincidences and inevitable connections, and now has an atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
