【Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Hitofude Dragon』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Edo-period one-stroke dragons, he pursues them with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three known one-stroke dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
【Kyoto, the City of Dragon Gods】Kyoto has been regarded for over 1,000 years as a place imbued with the power of dragon spirits residing in dragon holes and dragon veins. Many shrines and temples associated with dragons exist, and from ancient times to the present, pilgrimages to worship dragon gods have been actively carried out.
【Dragon (Ryujin) Belief in Japan】Japan has long been considered a mysterious land where dragons dwell, and dragons are regarded as messengers of the gods or as deities themselves. In many shrines, temples, myths, and legends, dragons are worshiped as symbols of prosperity and protection.
【For your home (personal use), company, shop, clinic, or facility—celebrations, anniversaries, and various gifts and celebrations】Examples include:- Moving, promotion, becoming company president, opening a business, store opening, anniversaries, relocation, clinic opening, establishment, new construction, independence, company prosperity, career advancement, business success- Birth, shrine visit, first meal, first festival, safe delivery prayers, child blessing- Entrance, school admission, Shichi-Go-San, Peach Festival, Boys’ Festival, graduation, adult ceremony, academic achievement, exam success- Sports events, competitions, exams, recitals, victory prayers- Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Respect for the Aged Day, Kanreki, Koki, Kiju, Sanju, Beiju, Longevity, Good health, Disease healing- Wedding anniversaries, Golden Wedding, marital harmony- New Year, Setsubun, birthdays- Auspicious days: Tensei-nichi, Ichiryumanbai, Daian- Prayers for warding off evil, disease prevention, traffic safety
【Regarding Blessings and Benefits from Original and High-Resolution Reproductions】— From Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima —In my personal opinion, both the original paintings and high-resolution reproductions, which reflect my thoughts and ideas, are imbued with prayers and blessings, and I believe there is no difference in their efficacy. The various products offered on this site “Ascension, Protection, and Matchmaking Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon” are based on my original one-stroke dragon paintings. They are carefully examined, supervised, and created to achieve the same level of detail and accuracy as the original works. The specific methods of production, including how they are finished, are based on the original paintings I drew at full size, using specialized techniques such as 『high-precision printing data conversion, high-definition printing, and special processing』. I am dedicated to ensuring the best quality.
