【Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『One-Stroke Dragon』 technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Edo-period one-stroke dragons, he pursues the art with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is considered one of only three in Japan to be a one-stroke dragon artist. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
