From childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continuously painted dragon images.Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and craftsmanship. Believing it to be his destiny, he mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing mastery with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (a martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and mastery).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history of dragon worship, seemingly guided by fate and fortunate encounters, where his atelier is located.
