**About the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing mastery with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he has been guided by various fortunate and fateful encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—an ancient city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
