**About the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images.Having studied the spirit of Japanese martial arts through 14 years of karate from age 6, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing it with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).One of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by various serendipitous and inevitable connections, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
