**[Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima]**Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study, respecting the tradition passed down since the Edo period, and pursues the dragon with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and meaningful encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
