**About the Artist: Keisuke Teshima, Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Painter**Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' painters in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where he has established his atelier, seemingly guided by the dragon gods, amid fortunate coincidences and meaningful encounters.
