Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of Japan’s martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ippitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique, history, and significance, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.While preserving the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu that has been passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the dragon with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and mastery). He is considered one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
