【About Choosing a Memorial Tablet】
It is best to match the size to the size of your Buddhist altar.
Generally, sizes from 4.0 Sun (small altar) to 4.5 Sun (medium altar) are commonly chosen. Sizes over 5.0 Sun suit large altars.
Measure carefully whether the chosen memorial tablet can be placed in the space for enshrining (usually the second tier from the top, left and right) of your Buddhist altar.

【About Dimensions Display of Memorial Tablets】
The size of memorial tablets is basically expressed in "Sun," such as 4 Sun or 4.5 Sun. One Sun equals 3.03 cm.
For example, a 4 Sun memorial tablet has a "plate height" of approximately 4 (Sun) × 3.03 (cm) = 12.12 cm.
Usually, this dimension refers to the "plate height" and does not indicate the "total height (height from top to bottom)," so please be aware.

【Other Precautions】
When actually placing it in a Buddhist altar, the "total height" is important.
If you are concerned about the size, it is reliable to check how tall a memorial tablet can be placed in the actual enshrinement space.
Furthermore, if you already have other memorial tablets enshrined, it is often helpful to refer to their sizes.
