福岡県南部の筑後地方で作られる、２００年を超える歴史を持つ伝統的工芸品“久留米かすり”を使用。久留米かすりは先染め織物のひとつで、糸の段階で「くくり」という工程により、濃淡に染め分けられたかすり糸を作り織り上げています。独特の模様のズレがプリントでは表現できないヒューマニズムを感じさせる織物です。また、古い織機でゆっくりと織り上げられたかすりは、現代の生地では感じることのできないような独特の風合いを醸し出します。
