effe was born from the desire to create an accessory that can be worn daily, serving as a protective charm for the owner in times of need.
While "expressing beauty," we gradually began to wonder: Is there a way to deliver this safety to small children? What kind of item would a child be happy to wear every day?
From these thoughts, "effe pensiero" was born.
In Italian, "pensiero" means a "small gift" or "consideration/thoughtfulness" that does not burden the recipient.The joy of giving and receiving small tokens on ordinary days.The pleasure of pondering what would make the other person happy.We want to deliver many loops of happiness created by thoughtfulness.

**The Inspiration**We received a request from the Disaster Prevention Division of Sabae City: "Since eyeglass materials are so beautiful, could you create a whistle that looks like an accessory?"We learned that since the Great Hanshin Earthquake, prefectures and cities have distributed whistles to raise disaster awareness. However, many people keep them tucked away inside their bags, meaning they cannot be used in an emergency.To solve this, we decided to try making whistle accessories for everyday use, which led to the birth of the effe series.
**Sound Engineering**Within the 2kHz to 5kHz range—the frequencies most audible to the human ear—we have designed the whistle to center on the high-frequency 4kHz range, which resonates far even from under rubble. Additionally, while considering audibility for rescue dogs, we have crafted the sound so that the 12kHz, 16kHz, and 20kHz frequencies form clean layers. **Origin of the Name**The material, cellulose acetate, originated in Italy.In Italian, the letter "F" is pronounced "effe."The "F" carries various meanings, including Fukui, Factory, and Fue (whistle).It also reflects our desire to create something that defies the conventional concept of a whistle—something that makes people say, "Ehh? A fue (whistle)?!" (E-fue).
