Yumemiya’s products are all handmade from design to manufacturing, carefully crafted by Kyoto artisans one by one.

Chirimen is a traditional Japanese woven fabric. Unlike regular cloth, it uses twisted (tortured) threads to intentionally shrink the fabric, creating a textured surface with unevenness.
Its good texture and soft feel make it widely used as fabric for traditional Japanese clothing.
