This is a horizontal metal jig designed based on the strategy of targeting yellowtail (buri) that patrols the vast shallow grounds ranging from 15 to 30 meters off the coast of Sotobo, Chiba Prefecture, from Katsuura to Ohara.

The jig's horizontal movement and jigging action—cast and jerk with lateral and diagonal trajectories—require a highly responsive, mobile jig that can respond like a minnow near the bottom.

The design specifically balances input and gravity to favor horizontal movement, achieving high responsiveness to high-speed actions that conventional vertical jigs cannot accomplish. It features excellent lift-off performance that responds even to light rod work, such as wrist flicks, and maintains turning performance during continuous operation. This allows for a high-speed combination of varied retrieves, including short, one-pitch, twitches, and stops, enabling dynamic and varied lure actions. When operated with fast-paced rod work, the full potential of this jig is realized.

By maintaining a horizontal posture and suppressing fall speed between actions, it achieves excellent maneuverability in the horizontal direction. It enhances initial response and turning ability, accommodating rapid changes in rod work speed. It performs powerfully during cast-and-jerk, trolled drifting, and in fast tide conditions, especially when moving in horizontal or diagonal trajectories.

It produces a wobbling action during steady retrieval and a sharp short dart during twitches. Between actions, it features a no-action fall that imitates a tagiri stick, creating a high-speed combination of enticing and hooking performance.
