Yuzan is a Buddhist altar made in Japan with a careful craftsmanship, featuring a distinctive design that incorporates vertical lattice and glass, unlike many simple furniture-style Buddhist altars.

The glass panel of the Sumi-dan (altar platform) is designed to evoke the image of "water," and the vertical lattice on the back panel symbolizes "tradition," creating a sense of spaciousness inside and giving the impression that the principal Buddha appears to be floating.
Furthermore, the upper shelf and the base plate are removable, making it easy to accommodate families with many memorial tablets and other items.

Because the altar is constructed in two parts, a dedicated dowel is used during installation to prevent misalignment.
The lower stand serves as storage space, where you can keep the belongings of the deceased, incense sticks, and prayer beads.
