Ahmad Tea's journey began in 1986 with the opening of a small tea shop in Southampton, England.
To meet the demand for "I want to drink the shop's tea at home too," we started selling canned Ahmad Tea, and it has since grown rapidly into a brand loved in over 80 countries.
In 2021, we celebrated our 35th anniversary and continue to make further leaps forward.

The final check before productization is still done by the owner, who is a tea taster, tasting it himself.

The Great Taste Awards are an international food competition, also known as the "Oscars of Food," organized by the Guild of Fine Food Retailers in the UK. It is judged by over 400 top chefs and culinary researchers.
The Ahmad Tea brand has achieved Great Taste Awards every year since 2015. It is highly regarded in the UK. In 2017, we were awarded the prestigious title of "GREAT TASTE PRODUCER" as a manufacturer that had won for three consecutive years.

Ahmad Tea is manufactured worldwide every day. In the process from raw tea leaves to productization, veteran tea tasters conduct tasting 7 times. The number of tastings per day reaches 500 cups.

Most of the Ahmad Tea imported to Japan is manufactured in the UAE (United Arab Emirates), which is suitable for tea leaf production.
The UAE was chosen as a location for smooth transportation of tea leaves from major producing regions such as India, Sri Lanka, and East Africa, and for its suitability for manufacturing. We are also actively involved in environmental conservation, such as generating an average of 290,000 kWh of electricity annually from solar panels.
