"Sweet Apple Trax" first garnered collector attention in the 70s, an era with limited information, by including previously unreleased material from the Get Back sessions. It features a fascinating array of covers, including rock and roll songs like "Be-Bop-A-Lula," "Good Rockin' Tonight," and "Honey Hush," R&B tracks such as "The House of the Rising Sun" and "Hi-Heel Sneakers," and songs by Bob Dylan. Furthermore, it was a talking point and a collector's must-have item as a compilation from the Get Back sessions, which included politically charged songs like "Get Back" (with the subtitle "No Pakistanis"), and documented the production process of "I Me Mine" and "Let It Be" through repeated takes. This album spawned numerous variations over time, such as "Hot As Sun," "Black Album," and "Get Back Journal." This new release not only faithfully reproduces the original album's content but also converts the sound sources, which were considered high quality at the time, from mono to true stereo with complete separation.
