A traumatically shocking work depicting twin brothers obsessed with the decaying carcasses of animals. Peter Greenaway, a leading British artist who is active not only as a film director but also as a painter and art director, was praised by the late film critic Nagaharu Yodogawa as "the most elegant mad genius in the history of British art cinema," and was described as "a dandy of the film world" by a French newspaper, for his obsessive pursuit of beauty, consistent concept in each work, meticulous composition and color expression, and skillful integration of music with visuals. Among his many works, four films for which the globally renowned musician Michael Nyman, known for "The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover," "The Piano," and "Gattaca," composed the music are being released on Blu-ray. All four films are presented unedited, and "A Zed & Two Noughts" and "Drowning by Numbers" are vividly and toxically revived with 4K remasters.

[Story]
Twin brothers Oswald and Oliver, both zoologists working at the same zoo. One day, their wives are simultaneously killed in a traffic accident in front of the zoo. Oswald, consumed by grief, begins to film the decay process of dead animals, thinking of his wife's body resting in the cemetery. Oliver also begins to exhibit strange behavior, such as swallowing shards of glass collected at the accident scene and releasing animals from their cages. Their lives are changed by Alba, the woman who was driving the car involved in the accident. Despite losing a leg, she is full of vitality and wants to have as many children as there are letters in the alphabet, and both brothers are simultaneously drawn to her. However, due to the scheme of a doctor who values artistic aesthetics, Alba has her remaining leg amputated. The brothers, who seemed to have regained their vitality, escalate their collection of decay records and finally embark on the ultimate filming...
