This is a hanging scroll with an original design by Hasegawa, depicting the auxiliary Buddha, Mushō Daishi, of the Rinzai sect (Myoshin-ji branch).
Mushō Daishi is the founder of Myoshin-ji in the Rinzai sect, and is enshrined on the right side of the upper tier of the Buddhist altar.
The vivid silk-screen printed main paper (image part) is professionally mounted with multiple hand-applied tears (kirie).
*Please confirm with your temple regarding the combination of the principal image and the two attendant images, as it varies by sect.*

If your Buddhist altar does not have hooks to hang the scroll, a scroll stand is necessary.
