A Cruise Journey Through the Rapidly Developing Tokyo Bay Area
The "Yurikamome" new transit system, connecting Shimbashi and Toyosu, runs through the Tokyo Waterfront Sub-center, lined with commercial facilities and office buildings. It is frequently used not only for commuting and school but also by tourists.
This production features forward-facing views from the latest 7500 series train, introduced in 2018, recorded in both daytime and nighttime, for a round trip. The journey begins in Toyosu. As the train speeds along, you'll see Toyosu Market, Tokyo Big Sight, Fuji TV, and more. The scenery along the line, with its many modern buildings and the train itself, evokes a futuristic city. After crossing the Rainbow Bridge and passing through Shiodome, where a vast freight station once stood, the train arrives at its terminal, Shimbashi. The return trip heads back to Toyosu.
At night, the journey starts from Shimbashi at dusk. As the sky darkens, the city lights begin to sparkle, revealing a more captivating view from the train window than during the day. The train runs through a dazzling and beautiful nightscape.
Bonus footage includes an introduction to the 7500 series train and a deadhead view from the Ariake Rolling Stock Depot to Ariake.
