"I want to catch fish with this jig." Aiming to create a jig that is unmatched and makes you think that way, we began designing the basic shape about two years ago.

Initially, the main target was assumed to be cherry salmon (sakura masu) (see below), but with the cooperation of testers nationwide, it became clear that this basic shape has extremely high potential for all kinds of fish species.

Already, it has proven effective for over 50 diverse species from north to south, including bluefish, flatfish, red sea bream, cutlassfish, trevally, grouper, other rockfish, and more. Through repeated minor modifications, we have reliably reflected anglers' intentions and discovered a perfect balance that allows a single jig to express a variety of actions with ingenuity. Its unique up-and-down keel shape creates vibrations through water interaction, and the flat side surfaces produce flashing that captivates targets. It can quickly adapt to ever-changing field conditions and demonstrates overwhelming power against all fish species.

Even in situations where expensive tungsten jigs have an advantage, this jig can achieve comparable results depending on how it is retrieved, sometimes even outperforming bait fishing methods like Tenkara. We have confirmed that it can produce results comparable to Tairaba (sea bream fishing with a lure) even when targeting red sea bream that haven't eaten sardines. It has been crafted into an incredibly powerful jig.

It responds naturally to various inputs such as fast retrieves, one-pitch, slow jigging, and more, and it vigorously flutters during falls. Sometimes, slow, meticulous winding with large jerks is effective, while other times, high-speed winding with a brief pause works better. Feel free to experiment with different combinations based on your ideas. You can enjoy discovering the pattern that works best on that day and at that time.

It is also interesting to modify the rig. Because of its excellent basic swimming and falling posture, attaching various accessories can maintain its advantages. Depending on sea conditions and target fish, adding assist hooks with flashers, octopus bait, skirts, etc., can produce synergistic effects. Although this is a high-response jig, attaching somewhat resistant accessories to the tail can intentionally shift it toward low response. It can also be used for eging (squid fishing). For example, during long trips where minimizing gear is desirable, you might choose to use only the Vajra jig with lightweight attachments to ensure variety.
