Aiming to create a jig that anglers would say, "I want to catch fish with this jig," we began designing the basic shape about two years ago.

Initially, we envisioned cherry salmon as the main target (see below), but with the cooperation of testers nationwide, we discovered that this basic shape has extremely high potential for all kinds of fish species.

Already, successful catches have been reported for over 50 diverse species, including bluefish, flatfish, red sea bream, cutlassfish, trevally, rockfish of the *Hata* group, and other reef fish, from north to south. Through repeated minor adjustments, we have achieved an exquisite balance that reliably reflects the angler's intent and allows for a variety of actions with a single lure, depending on how it's used. The unique upper and lower keel shape creates undulations that attract targets by biting into the water, while the flat side shape provides flashing. This is a single lure that can quickly adapt to the ever-changing conditions of the field and demonstrates immense power against all fish species.

Even in situations where expensive tungsten jigs have an advantage, this jig can achieve comparable results depending on the retrieve method, sometimes even outperforming bait fishing methods like tenya. We have also confirmed that it can achieve results comparable to tai rubber jigs, even when targeting red sea bream that are not feeding on sardines. This is a jig with tremendous power.

It responds smoothly to various inputs such as fast winding, one-pitch, and slow jigging, and it flutters wildly during the fall. Sometimes, it's effective to jerk it strongly and wind it slowly and deliberately, while other times, a brief pause after a high-speed straight retrieve works well. Feel free to try various combinations with your own creative ideas. You will surely enjoy the thrill of discovering the pattern for that particular day and time.

It's also interesting to experiment with different rigs. Because its basic swimming and falling posture is extremely good, its superiority is maintained even when various attachments are used. Depending on the sea conditions and target fish, using assist hooks with spinners or flashers, or adding a squid skirt or silicone skirt can create a synergistic effect. While this is a high-response jig, by attaching a lure with significant resistance to the tail, it can be intentionally made to have a low response. It can also be used for ebbing. For example, on expeditions where you want to minimize luggage, you could consider narrowing down your jigs to just the Vajra and ensuring variety with lightweight attachments.
