"Your Lie in April" is a Japanese manga work by Naoshi Arakawa, serialized in "Monthly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) from the May 2011 issue to the March 2015 issue, with a total of 11 volumes. It was nominated for the 2012 Manga Taisho Award. In 2013, it won the Shogakukan Manga Award in the boys' category. From October 2014 to March 2015, it was adapted into a TV anime in two cours on Fuji TV's "Noitamina" block. In 2016, it was adapted into a live-action film starring Suzu Hirose and Kento Yamazaki.
The original soundtrack of the movie features music composed by Yoshimata Ryo, who handled the film score, and includes classical music performed by the main characters Kaori Miyazono (Suzu Hirose) and Kousei Arima (Kento Yamazaki) in the story, all recorded on one CD, released as a "Soundtrack & Classical Music Collection".
