This is a Zini teapot made approximately 40 to 50 years ago at the Yixing kiln in China. It is a large size. It is made from a subdued vermilion clay with a smooth texture. It has a flat, beautiful round shape and is called a "horizontal pot" because it floats horizontally when placed in water. The lid has a high, well-matched shape to the body, creating an integrated design overall. The inside of the spout is a single hole. This is a traditional method. The bottom has a raised foot, and inside there is a ceramic seal that reads "中国宜興" (China Yixing). It is in very clean condition, close to unused. You can enjoy the aging process by using it for a long time in the future. There is only one in stock. The actual item shown in the images will be sent.
