The "MONTAGE M" series is a flagship synthesizer further enhanced from the previous series. It features the "Motion Control Synthesis Engine," a core component of the sound system, which combines the "Hybrid sound source" with the newly developed virtual analog sound source "AN-X," fully reproducing the subtle behaviors of analog synthesizers digitally. Along with the digital synthesizer's expressive power "FM-X" and the realistic acoustic instrument sound "AWM2," the three sound engines greatly strengthen sound expression. The user interface centers around a touch panel with excellent visibility and operability, similar to the previous series, and additionally includes a second display placed at the top left. This allows instant access to key parameters such as oscillators, filters, and envelope generators, enabling quick sound editing. The user interface's superior operability further enhances the player's creativity. Three models are lineup, allowing selection of keyboard type and number of keys according to the keyboardist's playing style. The "MONTAGE M8x" features, for the first time in our company, an 88-key polyphony aftertouch-compatible keyboard, elevating the player's expressive power to a higher level.

The "Motion Control Synthesis Engine," the greatest feature of the "MONTAGE" series, is a total sound source system that combines the "Hybrid sound source" with "Motion Control," which realizes complex continuous sound changes through various control sources.
In the "MONTAGE M" series, the core sound source system "Hybrid sound source" has been enhanced by adding the newly developed virtual analog sound source "AN-X," capable of polyphony up to 16 voices. Centered on the oscillator section, it features highly versatile modulation and waveform deformation functions, capable of producing everything from vintage sounds to edgy, aggressive tones, blending tradition and innovation. Along with the 8-operator, up to 128-voice polyphony FM sound source "FM-X" and the sound source "AWM2" with doubled waveform capacity and higher fidelity, the three sound engines can produce a maximum of 400 simultaneous sounds.
The combination of the thick, warm analog sound of the AN-X sound source, the distinctive digital sound of the FM-X sound source, the highly realistic acoustic sounds of the AWM2 sound source, and the integrated control via Motion Control results in a unique and overwhelming sound expression capability.

Another core component of the "Motion Control Synthesis Engine," "Motion Control," allows smooth variation of layered sounds by manipulating controllers, adding vitality to the sound. The "MONTAGE M" series features various control sources, notably the "Super Knob" and "Motion Sequencer," which are characteristic controls.
The "Super Knob" is a knob capable of controlling up to 280 parameters at once, allowing dynamic sound changes with simple operation. The "Motion Sequencer" can record and reproduce parameter changes across up to 8+1 parts, with controllers for the parts and the Super Knob, enabling complex, multi-layered sound variations during performance.
In addition, features such as the Audio Beat Sync, which automatically detects beats of audio input signals via the A/D input and synchronizes with "Motion Sequencer," and the envelope follower, which generates control information from audio signals, are included. Utilizing these diverse control sources allows for performances with dynamic sound changes.
Furthermore, the "MONTAGE M" series enhances control capabilities with dedicated controls for KEYBOARD HOLD, PORTAMENTO, and a RIBBON CONTROLLER that can be used as a switch for up to five zones.

Similar to the previous series, a main touch panel is installed at the center of the user interface. In the "MONTAGE M" series, additional features include the "Display Knob" and "Navigation" buttons at the bottom of the screen, enabling efficient selection of tones and detailed editing. A new secondary display, "Second Display," has been added, showing key parameters such as AN-X oscillators, filters, FM frequency, operator levels, and effect parameters, allowing instant sound editing.
On the right side of the secondary display, the "PAGE JUMP" button is placed. It instantly displays detailed information of the selected parameter on the main screen, enabling faster and more intuitive sound creation and control, thus fostering the player's creativity.

The 61-key model "MONTAGE M6" and the 76-key model "MONTAGE M7" are equipped with FSX keyboards, a high-quality keyboard for flagship synthesizers with channel aftertouch support. The 88-key model "MONTAGE M8x" uses the newly developed "Graded hammer with Enhanced eXpression (GEX)" keyboard, which incorporates new keyboard sensors to realize polyphonic aftertouch with independent tone changes per key. To ensure comfortable playability, white keys are made with high moisture absorption, and black keys are made with ebony-like material.
Both keyboards feature high-quality touch sensitivity capable of subtle nuance control, carefully matched with the sound to maximize the expressive potential of the "Motion Control Synthesis Engine."

A software synthesizer reproducing all sound sources of the "MONTAGE M" series will be available from 2024.
The "MONTAGE M" series includes a download code for the "EXPANDED SOFTSYNTH PLUGIN for MONTAGE M," a clone software synthesizer that enhances connectivity and integration for live and music production use.
