Yamada Industrial Co., Ltd.'s Chinese wok is made using a manufacturing process called "hammering" where each piece is hammered (by machine) thousands of times.
"Hammering" refers to a process where a flat iron plate is pressed and then repeatedly hammered by a special machine equipped with a hammer, manually turning the wok to shape it into a wok mold.
Because each item is handmade using the hammering process, there may be small scratches, weld marks, and scuffs on each product.
Due to the manufacturing process, the surface of the product may have marks that initially look like scratches.
Additionally, during welding of the handle part, high heat treatment occurs, which may cause color differences and peeling of the black skin, but there is no problem with quality, so please use with confidence.
