This is wood vinegar produced from the traditional charcoal manufacturing of Iwate Prefecture.
Wood vinegar is an aqueous solution obtained by cooling the components of smoke generated during charcoal production.
It is approximately 90% water, and the remaining approximately 10% contains about 200 types of organic components such as acetic acid, phenols, and alcohols.
It is mainly used as a soil conditioner and plant activator for agricultural products and is recognized as a "fertilizer and soil conditioner" under the Japanese Agricultural Standard for Organic Agricultural Products.
