Wu-Lu releases his latest EP in 2024! Wu-Lu is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in South London.

He has garnered attention with singles that have all received high praise, and have been lauded by major media outlets such as Fader, Mojo, Crack, and Quietus. He is also closely involved with the UK band scene, and is stirring up a new wave of UK alternative rock with his unique style. He now releases his latest EP on 12-inch vinyl, his first since his debut album "LOGGERHEAD" in 2022.

Regarding this work, Wu-Lu says:

"Everyone has lived a life before and after the person they love. Life always throws us into the water, but we always know it's a myth that we can't swim."

"LearningToSwimOnEmpty" sees him, as a vocalist and musician, dive deeper than ever before, creating his most heartfelt and intimate songs to date, while expanding his sonic palette in the process. The EP is a series of diary-like pieces inspired by his upbringing in Brixton, death and grief, rebirth, and the feeling of sinking or swimming when thrown into the deep end. The EP concludes with spoken word performances by poet Rohan Ayinde and award-winning author and former London Young Poet Laureate Caleb Femi.
