[Story]
"Yakushima I"
Jomon Sugi, a symbol of Yakushima. Its age is estimated to be between 2,000 and 7,200 years old, with various theories existing. Currently, it is not accessible for protection. This time, with the cooperation of relevant organizations, crane photography was used to capture Jomon Sugi from angles not usually seen. Various plants were found growing on it, living as if Jomon Sugi were their land. It revealed the appearance of the fierce "King of the Forest."
"Yakushima II"
Yakushima was formed 14 million years ago when granite rose up. Beneath the sea, a landscape similar to a mountain range unfolds at the "summit." This granite broke through the sea surface, creating mountains nearly 2,000 meters high. It is still rising at a speed of 1 meter per 1,000 years.
