White Ash is a wood with a white color and a slightly yellow tinge.
The color of wood changes depending on the angle of light and the direction from which it is viewed. Taking advantage of this feature, the veneer is cut into triangles and pasted together in a circle from the center, creating a design that looks as if rays of light are coming from the center.
Compared to other solid wood trays, this round tray is lighter and a reasonable size for carrying small things you use in your daily life.
White Ash is a member of the same genus as Tamo, and the grain of the wood is very similar, but the color is different. There are differences in color and grain between the East Asian and North American species due to differences in their growing environments. (A broadleaf tree of the Moraceae family)
