Precautions:
1. If the material to be drilled is too hard (e.g., stainless steel), first drill a small hole with a smaller drill bit, then ream with a larger drill bit.
2. For hard materials, the rotation speed of the electric drill should be between 80 and 120 for best results. Excessive rotation speed can burn the bit and prevent drilling.
3. Stainless steel contains more alloy components, making it harder and with higher mechanical properties. Hand drills require sufficient motor power and drilling pressure. Table drills may not be sufficient.
4. To extend the life of the drill bit, use coolant or cutting fluid to reduce the high temperature generated by the drill bit's rotation.
5. Hardened and heat-treated steel has high hardness. Rig processing should be performed before machining to avoid collapse or breakage of the rig.
