The story takes place on the planet Fargaya. Long ago, there was constant conflict between two factions: the Pan-National Unified Star Fleet and the Parliamentary Knights. As a result, decades-long wars ensued. The Pan-National Unified Star Fleet developed a weapon called ARM (Ambient Reorganization Material) to put an end to the war, and due to its power and precision, the tide of battle turned. However, just as victory seemed within reach for the Pan-National Unified Star Fleet, it ironically collapsed from internal opposition, and the conflict ended with the Parliamentary Knights declared the winners by default.
Although the war ended, the wounds of the world remained unhealed. The politics of the Parliamentary Knights also became meaningless to the populace, who were merely struggling to survive each day in the devastated world. As a result, the Parliamentary Knights effectively ceased to function.
Currently, Fargaya has, in a sense, gained a form of freedom—unbound by anyone.
Jude, who grew up completely unrelated to the wartime era in the village of Ciel, one day witnesses a mysterious battleship suddenly appearing in his village. The boy sneaks past the soldiers’ eyes and infiltrates the battleship, where he encounters a girl. This marks the beginning of the entire story.
