The Wii Fit series allows you to enjoy training such as measuring "BMI" (Body Mass Index) calculated from the ratio of height and weight using the Balance Wii Board, and training for balance, muscle strength, and aerobic exercise, which are important for physical health, in a game-like manner. With Wii Fit U, you can now manage your health throughout the day by using the new accessory, the "Fit Meter (activity tracker)." The Fit Meter measures the calories burned in your daily life. The Fit Meter tracks your calorie expenditure when you are out. Train from your daily life towards your goals. Activity data from when you are out can be sent to Wii U. Train in Wii Fit U to make up for any shortfall in your target calorie expenditure. Wii Fit U checks your calorie expenditure for the day. Based on the deficit in calories burned, it suggests training to do at home. *Difference from a pedometer The Fit Meter is equipped with an accelerometer and a barometer. The accelerometer measures METs and the barometer measures altitude changes, allowing it to calculate different calorie expenditures even for the same number of steps, depending on conditions such as walking, running, or going up and down stairs. Therefore, calorie expenditure for efforts, such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator, is reflected. By combining the exercise information recorded by the Fit Meter during your outings with the training records from Wii Fit U, you can comprehensively review your daily exercise achievements. Additionally, a new mode is included that allows you to enjoy new modes using the exercise achievements recorded by the Fit Meter. There are five training genres: "Balance Games," "Aerobic Exercise," "Yoga," "Strength Training," and the newly added "Dance." Various menus are available to suit your needs, such as for relieving stiff shoulders, reducing stress, or achieving your target calorie expenditure. Furthermore, "Yoga," "Strength Training," and "Dance" now include a mirror mode that allows you to train while watching yourself. Balance Games: Cultivate the sense of balance important for daily life. Yoga (Mirror Mode Compatible): Aim for a beautiful posture by correcting body imbalances.
